Someone called from this number, and I didn't take the call, because I didn't recognize the number. I sent a text asking for identification, and the caller started harassing me instead.

These numbers call my cell phone at least a dozen times a day, but leave no message!! If it's not important enough to leave a message, it's not important enough for me to call them back!! They use several numbers all starting with 201-283-96--. Last two digits can be 34, 45, 52, 61, 79, 81. All from Kearny, NJ.
