Random text messages being sent asking when I will arrive. I did not respond.

Texts received claiming I met this person in Napa. They sent a photo of a woman in an expensive car. I told them they had the wrong number and they asked if it was Emma.

Trying to make it popular and protect people. I received a call from this number on Monday afternoon around 2pm and the caller claimed to be from a financial services company offering consolidation loans, however when I asked for their business registration details and a callback number they became evasive and started using high pressure sales tactics, insisting that I needed to make a decision immediately and that the offer would expire within the next ten minutes if I did not provide my bank account details over the phone, which is obviously a massive red flag and consistent with known scam patterns where the scammers create artificial urgency to bypass the victim's critical thinking, I told them I would call them back through their official customer service line and they immediately hung up confirming my suspicion that this was a fraudulent call, I am posting this comment so other people who receive a call from this number can be aware that it is a scam and should not engage with the caller under any circumstances, and I would also recommend reporting the number to the FTC at donotcall dot gov so that it can be added to official scam databases and tracked for enforcement action, do not give out any personal information or banking details to anyone who calls you unsolicited. The banks also told me to warn people I know so here you are.
