Call and hangs up after 2 rings

This guy called my daughters phone and was asking for someone we don't know. Left a very harassing message and caused my daughter to have a panic attack because she has an anxiety disorder. The guy left an 888 phone number to call back. So, I called the original 214 number he called in on and when I told him what he had done, he screamed at me and then told me he didn't have time for me and hung up on me. I then called the 888-978-4314 number he had left and sure enough when he answered he just answered "Can I help you"... I said "You're the man I just spoke to" he said "No". I said "You're telling me that you are not the man that just told me you didn't have time for me and hung up on me?" He said "I'm in a meeting" and hung up on me again! His phone service is through CBeyond Communications in Dallas Texas. I called them and they said as long as the bill is paid there is nothing they can do about it.

Someone called from this number asking my name and dates of birth. When I asked what it was about he sailed that it was from a law suit in Texas and that they would send someone out to my county of ididn't answer his questions. When i asked his name of his colony he hung up on me.

they called me and asked me to pay a $1025 debt and said that it was something that i occurred from 2008 through 2014...and they give me a card that i never had. they also said that they were from finance department......they had my name and my last 4 social number

Caller said her name was "Wendy Schmitz with All State" and asked for the Human Resource manager. When asked the nature of the call (we have many HR employees), she said she "needs information". Then she asked for the HR director by name-the name that is publicly available online. I asked for a number for someone to call her back, as this is how our company prefers to handle calls from people we don not have an established working relationship with, and she refused to give a number . She said she would just call the CEO herself and hung up on me. Callers who refuse to leave a number to reach them, who become upset and rude when they are not immediately connected to who they wish to speak with, or who hang up on me are good at one thing-closing the door by showing that they are not professional, do not represent a professional company, and are not anyone we would ever consider doing business with. So these calls are very helpful and are logged and recorded. Thanks for all the red flags!
