weird and also a text now number

I think this was a spam call; I was given the option to pay $400 instead of the $1400+ that was taken out via a cash advance (from a company called Client Cash Advance Services) in 2018. They had the last four digits of my social, my current address ("notification of the collection was sent to [current address] in 2022 or 2023" - when I shared we didn't live at that address until late 2024 the mailing date suddenly changed). They also said this was a cash advance loan that was taken out while I was working at Warehouse Music (not a place I have ever heard of or worked at). She said the $400 payment would prevent the default from going on my credit report; I've purchased two homes since 2018 and have seen no reports on my credit.

They tried to ask me to deposit a check for them and asked for money in return I thought it was kinda funny cause their wasn't very much context or reasons behind why I'm depositing a check for them so I decided to search the number and it's a landline obv a fake number I think it's a scammer

texted me Threatening me... i don't even know this person. I feel like my life is threatened

Constantly calling, leaves no message.
