The phone number has been disconnected already.

Told me he was from a law firm, and that he was pressing felony check fraud charges against me unless I came up with $1000 in two hours. I owed for $400 loan I took out in 2009 after we lost our home and needed emergency housing. I was a regular customer with CashNetUSA, and had paid off my previous loans. At one point, I guess I became so overwhelmed with bills, this bill and others went by the wayside. The "lawyer" told me to make a statement that I am not a criminal, and did not intend to defraud anyone, so I made that statement because its the truth. He said he would call his client to discuss payment options with me. He said they were Ancor One. At first, I thought he said Eagle One. But a rep at CashNetUsa verified it was Ancor One. He came back to me, saying that he wouldn't press charges against me if I came up with $1000 of the alleged $5000 in "restitution" I owe. Restitution!? It sound like I've already been tried and convicted. I called CashNet and we are communicating. They believe this is a scammer. I don't know. He terrorized me all day long. I'm still afraid.
