It was a recorded female's voice that simply asked "Is this, #my first name#?" I didn't say yes. Instead I responded with, "With whom am I speaking?" Then the phone call was terminated on their end. I think it was one of the confirmation scams that either tries to record your voice saying "yes" for fraudulent purposes, or to just confirm your number so they can sell it for a higher value.

Unknown caller keeps bothering me several times a day. I finally tried calling back and got a man with a foreign accent who I do not know. I couldn't understand what he was saying so I asked for his name. He hung up without trying to give me any further information. I believe it is a call from a computer hijacker that I have been trying to deal with for several years now. I will block any further calls from this number.
