Calls and tells me that I have defaulted on a payday loan and that I will be getting sued unless I pay money...used the names eddy brown and Richard Ross

calls from a Mike Smith who can't even pronounce his own name.foreign person threating issuing a arrest warrant from some legal justice agency.

These people are scammers out to get peoples money. everything they say is a lie!!. If they contacted you and scammed you or tired to, you can file a police report on them and contact the state district attorney's office. You can also file a report with the FBI, they are aware of these scammers and need all the information they can get to prosecute them. They sound so legit. and they say things like; " We are going to take out a warrent against you for some unpaid loan or payday loan and unless you send them money to "settle this out of court"'. Do not listen to them, they can not file criminal charges against you for an unpaid LOAN, they can only go after you in civil court. If you demand any kind of documentation about the owed debt (proof), they will give all kinds of excuses as to why they cannot send you proof. If you agree to their demands then they will not take your debit card, NO they want the payment in the form of a prepaid money debit card or a green dot card, unactivated so you can call and give them the card numbers and the activation codes so they can activate the cards and STEAL your money!! Check out the FBI news website and Green dot even informed that this was a scam!! PLEASE do not fall for these people lies like I did!

This type of calls are always callin me, they stated they were from a law firm, and that I was a suspect of criminal activity, I hung up and figured they would leave a voice mail but they never did.
