(325) 274 in Abilene, TX

Stated from Walmart. Message left but it was the same message left multiple times from the same call. Stated a PS was purchased from a Walmart and would need validation. Checked all my CC's and nothing was found. Plus I have each of my cards turned off at this point. FRAUD!!!

Claimed to be Walmart Fraud Prevention, and that someone ordered a Playstation on my account. Verified as bogus by calling the actual Walmart.

I've gotten a lot of calls lately from numbers I don't recognize, so I usually just refuse the call. This morning (8/10/24), I answered to tell the caller I wasn't interested in whatever they were selling. This call was different: I answered "Hello?", about 2 seconds later, a raspy male voice (possibly a teen) said "Mom?, Dad?" then uttered what sounded like a whimpering sobbing for about 2 seconds, then about a 1 second pause, and then he hung up. It was creepy.

How are these guys in Abilene getting around my spam alert? Block one and they keep calling on other lines.
