Call to fish for personal Information.

Someone called my number pretending to be a relative but not giving a specific name. Beware. I don't believe this is a telemarketer but is a scammer.

This guy call me and wanted me to guess who of my relatives, was he, I just say a random name, and he accepted.

i am on the do not call registry. have been for years. why are these people calling and leaving no voice mail?

This individual who called me by this number and my cell said he was a family of ours but wasn't true and was asking for money.

I am writing from Los Angeles, California, but I live in Alhambra, CA. On Monday, May 13, 2013, approx. 2:00 pm, I received a phone call from phone # 331-322-5631, the caller identified himself as my nephew 'Arturo Cuadros' from San Diego, according to him. My nephew lives in Mexico Ciry. He was vacationing in San Dieogo and called to tell me he had a Mother's Day gift. He told me he would be driving down my place to deliver the gift. His voice sounded kind of different, but same personality. Half hour later, he calls me and tells me his tire blew up and hit a car. The car was from Mexico, Chapala. A child was injured with minor cuts. He wanted me to help him with money to settle with the driver instead calling the police. According to David, he would pay $1,500, I would pay $500.00. I told him I only had $200. The driver accepted the $200.00 and indicated to me how to send the money via Western Union to Chapala, Mexico. After I gave them the information of the money sent, David told he would called larer. The call never came in. I called Mexico City and talked to his mother at 2:00 am Tuesday, she told me, NO!
