They called saying that a credit card application had been submitted using my dads social security number but with a north carolina address. They wanted to connect me with consumer financial protection bureau. I didn't feel right so i hung up and they called me back from a different number asking why i hung up. I told them I would call it on my own. They said they will call me back today to verify that I had.

Call was about social security benefits. Not legitimate call.
