I was contacted by a buyer on Craig's List (I have emails to verify this). The buyer sent a check for an amount over the total agreed price (merchandise was $1,350, the check sent was $1,950. Then he wanted only one of the items and not both and wanted to be refunded the balance ($1,370). He finally agreed to settle for the $600 over the amount for the merchandise. Then he had me go to a CoinStar machine to convert cash to BitCoin. I sent him the balance the $600 after the amount for the two items. Then he wanted me to keep the merchandise and would not come to pick it up. And he wanted me to refund the entire amount minus $370 for my trouble. I have all of the email correspondence and a text thread that can verify all of this.

09-22 and 23-2022. Received call from this number stating they were Paypal and that someone had hacked our Paypal account. After several minutes of conversation, they wanted me to withdraw $5000.00 from our bank account and purchase bitcoin at an ATM. Very smooth. Be aware!!
