I too received a text stating to be my boss, asking me for a favor. Thousands of dollars and a day later, I realized this was a scam. To say I feel duped is an understatement. They took advantage of an announcement about my new position at a company, and found out who my boss was, and got my personal cell. I did not question who it was, new to the Co. and eager to please, did not for a min think it was fraudulent. Big Mistake. Even with years of training, still went down this rabbit hole, trusting. Never Trust, and I Hope this person gets what they deserve for stealing.

An employee of mine is receiving text messages on her personal phone with the person posing as me.
