This number randomly contacted me directly via SMS message on Saturday 3/2/2024, identifying as Emily from HR at AirBnb Hotels looking to recruit online freelancers. When I asked how my info was obtained, s/he apologized for contacting me in this manner, and said it was extracted using software to introduce job opportunities via WhatsApp, and proceeded to detail the payout for logging in for a consecutive number of days, including the total pay for base salaries for unspecified duties required for said freelance role. I asked some questions to get more insight. Overall, the total proposition reeked of bogus. When I replied I'm not interested, s/he tried to pressure me to try it out, saying, "Why don't you try it first? Don't worry this is a part time job using mobile phone at home." Seems like a scanner with a plan.
