We received many calls telling us we had won the Publisher Clearing House. Said we had won a Mercedes, a million dollars, etc. Then he asked us to go to Dollar General and buy 2 Vanilla VISA cards, one for $500 and $395.50 to pay taxes on our winnings. Then he called and said he made a mistake and it should have have been $1950 He said we needed $1000 and we didnt know how much we had. We told him $750. So he told us to get the same cards in increments of $500 and $250 which we did .He promised to call us this morning and the price patrol would bring our car and money. He did call..He said we had won additional money, $80,000 and $7000 weekly but he needed more money. We told him we had no more. He even wanted us to take a title to a financial store and get a collateral loan for whatever we could get. We didnt. We went to the sheriffs office and reported this case. Of course they couldnt do anything about it . John continued to call until my husband blocked his number. After all this, on his last call he told me that hed still work out something and thats the last we heard from him.
