This phone number is for Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN they may have been calling regarding Mayo bill, setting up an appointment with your doctor or other related Mayo business, this is not a telemarketer, or a scam. I work there, it's their main number to dial out for all departments at Mayo.

This number is NOT a telemarketer. It is in fact Mayo Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. I have had reason to be contacted by them, and to also contact them, for pre-authorization for lab work. I am very glad that the program on my phone knew the difference.

Caller could not speak in a manner that could be understood.

SCAM - On Sep 25th a woman called claiming to be from Mayo clinic patient account services. She wanted me to verify my account by providing her with my date of birth and address. I did not provide the info and stated that I should be able to obtain information by going to my online account to find out if there is a problem. She responded that online is probably not up-to-date. I did not provide her any information and hung up. I checked both the statement that I received in the mail and online. The $25.00 I owe is not even due for 3 more days.
