This person (man) called my daughter and said he was with the Michigan State Police. He said she was caught on dashcam sideswiping another car. She was taken aback, as she has no recollection of such incident. He insisted she provide her vehicle insurance information or he would escalate the situation. My daughter contacted me and asked me to photograph and text her car insurance to her. She contacted the caller and provided the information. I called the number today. When answered, the greeting said "Trooper Smith" was not available. I asked he call me then used Spokeo to find out who was really calling. Your information indicates it's Dusty Smallwood, age 69, with numerous phone numbers an living in Hasting, MI. I believe he may be involved in insurance fraud.
