(518) 704 in Schenectady, NY

Got a telephone call, but they left no message. Tried to find name of caller but only got info that it might be IRS scam. I don't know anyone in or near that area code and don't do business with anyone in that area code. Hence, I believe it was a scammer.

This person whose using this number hacked my Instagram account using this # and changed my email address also . And keeps sending messages to all my IG friends .

I received a call from a lady who claimed I was being issued a summons for a capital one credit from 2004 and also stated I was making payments up to 2013. The lady gave no company name or her at that. She claims I owed them a thousand dollars but would settle for 500 dollars. I have not used any capital one credit card with a line of credit of a thousand dollars. Something a little off with this whole thing.

This person called my mother and tried to sell her a cell phone and a tablet- they asked for her full name and address, and they said they would come to the house and drop off the phone, she just needed to have a money order for $400 ready when they showed up.
