(551) 800 in Westwood, NJ

Acting like a nurse (named Melissa) in Ukraine asking for money for a solider who cannot pay his medical bills.

this number was being used by a scammer under the name of Eric Wilson

Someone claiming to be Marcus or Marco Jones called my mother and also spoke with me claiming that my son was in a car accident and hit someone from the back and that my son broke his nose and was arrested. This Marcus or Marco individual asked for $3500 dollars via zelle in order for my son to be released. I spoke with my mother, and she said that someone claiming to be my son got on the phone and was explaining to my mother that it was his fault and to please not to tell his parents anything and to just send the money. The interesting thing about this, is that the person claiming to be my son was speaking in Spanish to my mother. My son does not speak Spanish. He can't use sentences. He only knows a couple of words. This person was having a story telling conversation with my mother in Spanish and she immediately knew that it was not him. Additionally, I called the Marcos or Marcus person and explained that I was John Acosta's mother and wanted to know what is going on. The Marcos or Marcus person was annoyed because he had to repeat his story again. The interesting thing, my son happens to be in California and called about a half our after all the scam we had received to let us know that he was getting on his flight and to pick him up at the airport. He provided the flight, time and airport to pick him up. When I call 551-800-6702 the person Marcos or Marcus Jones answers. Please report this person and have him arrested.
