Identified self as an affiliate of mine, and asked if I would help in obtaining something for him. I purchased gift cards and sent them, along with an authorization number and receipts thinking my perceived affiliate said I would be reimbursed. I missed a lot of clues along the way. We reported this event to the place of purchase and the credit card used and have been assured it is being investigated.

This number called me, I missed the call, I called it back, and someone picked up, said "yeah?" in a strange tone, and then when I said that I was returning a call from the number, I got no response so I hung up.

Company knew my last 2 of my SSN, but refused to provide my full SSN or provide details as to which company hired them to attempt a collection. I stated that I wanted them to tell me who the collection was for, but they kept saying they wanted to confirm additional information. They confirmed my name, last 2 of my social and my phone number. I did not provide any other information. I told them to proceed with a suit and I would go from there.

Our number is on the National Do Not Call Registry. This telemarketer is not complying or using the registry prior to the calls coming through to my phone.
