Is the Do Not Call List just another government facade?

7/13/13 said he was calling concerning a technical problem with my computer, I responded that I never contacted anyone and then no answer.

Called from someone claiming to be from a computer tech company. Asked if I was main user of home computer. Had my name and address. Started asking questions about computer and my use. I told him I had no connection to them and wasn't interested in any service. He asked what I do if system needs repair. I said I fix it myself. Then he said " I have 2 words for you sir f*** y**" and hung up. I would warn you not to do business with these people.

Someone by the name of Roger called me and said that it was about my computer. He was looking for me to give him my personal information.

I was called at my home number after 9 p.m. asking questions about a Windows computer. when I tried to ask who was calling the caller hung up on me I have tried to call the number back and now it tells me is that it is busy

The person who calls claims they are from a computer tech company that is trying to "fix" something on my computer and then goes on to ask personal log in information etc. They have called a few times and most recently when I confronted the caller before I could get the words out of my mouth the person hung up on me.

I have registered on the do not call list!! why am I still getting all of these calls all hours of the day and night??? Please make them stop!!!
