Harassment calls: this individual called and dropped the call, there no message

Got a post card claiming to be a final notice for a package delivery with this as the number for delivery options. Came presorted out of Santa Ana Ca, with a parcel number. To my knowledge I don't have anything incoming, so I suspected this is a scam. Called the number, it's a travel company trying to hock their wares. Without even telling him the parcel number, he knew that we had "won" a vacation package. I used a choice epithet and hung up on him. I'm no lawyer, but it seems like it might be mail fraud to me.

rings and hangs up... multiple times

This calls many times for several weeks and hangs up.

I listen tovthe voice mail and it was some rap song about a pimp or whatever.. I put a block on the number.

The person "Dawn" keeps calling my home and cell numbers several times a day. If I find out who is behind this scheme I will give the information to my attorney to file legal action. I have already provided him this number along with the 800-847-0487, ext. 3172 phone number she requests I call. NOT!

VERY ANNOYING CALL.

"Betty" (yeah, right) who apparently has no last name called at 9:35am this morning from (714) 361-2615 in Irvine, CA fishing around for information about a neighbor. Betty was very cagey and would not identify her company or purpose for calling. She kept repeating that my number was given as a reference. She refused to answer questions about the purpose of her call. I finally got her to give me the name of her company "Greentree", but she refused to provide a simple, direct answer as to her purpose in calling and how she got my number. I finally asked for a supervisor and she said "there is no need to talk to a supervisor, if you decline to pass on the message" At this point I hung up. " Greentree Betty had heretofore never mentioned that she was trying to pass on a message. My take: Betty and "Greentree" are scammers. I would never give them any information about anyone. If you get a call from Betty of Greentree, do everyone a favor and hang up. Block the number if you can.
