(716) 810 in Buffalo, NY

Said he was from NY PD, he was putting a warrant out in my name.

Said his name was john with the cyber unit in N.Y..said I had felony warrants on me in my home town..

"John" said he was an officer with NYPD cyber crimes and had 3 felony warrants for my arrest for an outstanding payday loan from Cash America Inc and had my personal information. When I stated I would be contacting my local police department to find out what was going on, "John" said "oh you will" and hung up. This person also contacted my place of employment. I have since contacted my local police department and was told that it sounded like a scam. I will be filing a complaint with them.

With NYPD.

Very rude man with an accent claiming to be with the NYPD saying criminal charges were filed against me by a pay day loan company I have never even heard of, much less got a loan with. He threatened I would be arrested here in my home town and that I would get fired from my job if I did not take care of the matter. He was extremely threatening. Isn't this impersonating a police officer and a felony?

This gentleman had my name, home phone, work phone and social security number and claimed he was giving me a chance to talk to him because my social security number was under investigation for fraud in NY. I have never lived in NY nor to the best of my knowledge had business with anyone in NY.

he called and said he was a police officer, called back but it's a ansering machine

Says they are the police dept, but they are trying to collect money that should be against the law.

this person was very threatening, said I would be arrested, & would not send me any kind of verifacation!

called my work number without my permission
