CALLS AND HANGS UP

Lindsey Rodgers called my roommates phone right after she called me. Telling my roommate that I have until 2 o'clock to call her. Lindsey Rodgers told my roommate she did a background check on her. She than told my roommate she came up as relative. My roommate is just that a roommate.

Lindsey Rodgers threatened that a lein would be placed on my home and wages would be garnished and then i would have real financial problems. She was so rude! She did not even tell me where she was from, she just started rattling off things she didnt even have all of her facts about. There was no negotiating about the debt, just threats of what would happen . She said i could not file bankruptcy because i dont have enough debt. She does not have all of the facts. I want to make payments but not to her, she cant be trusted.

Wanting me to call a 800 number and to provide an I.D. they give. States they have something returned from my bank. I do not have such an issue. Do not know who this is and calls each day.

This Lindsey woman called my cell phone for my previous roommate telling me she did a background check on him and he has a deadline to call her by July 1st. I haven't lived with him in over a year. This woman has no reason to call my phone.

I have an unlisted phone and they have no business calling me.

Lindsey Rodgers threatens you with placing leins on your property and garnishing your wages. Although a payment arrangement was reached, she has changed numbers several times giviing excuses on why the agreement cannot be reached with what you can pay. She's a shady charactor and cannot be trusted

Got a call from them saying that my case was on his desk, and said that if I didn't call back within 24 hrs, they were going to put a lien on my federal taxes. Upon looking up the number, it's registered as a cellphone number to a L Rednour in Buffalo, NY. Had a bad feeling when the call came in blocked, then they left a number and my SSN on my VM. After further research, I found a number of complaints for this number within the past week, with the same issue/message that I received. Found out that this is a scam. These people are scammers - you must report them to the https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ file a formal complaint with all your information - who called you that they threatened you with a federal lien - they are totally illegal in their calling, and sure enough after you report them, then they cancel the phone number and move on to a different location and in about 6 months they will try again - just keep reporting them - do not call them back or contact them in anyway, and DO NOT Give out any personal information to them they are frauds! They are rude and it is totally illegal to threaten you - if they were ligit, they would go through the county court and file a garnishment against you, but because they are frauds they can not do this! Don't fall for the threatening calls. Make sure that if they start calling people you are associated with, family etc. that is VERY ILLEGAL.......
