Called me out of the blue at 4am

This man pretends hes Chip Wilson, the founder of lululemon. He called me, Im a realtor, and said he and another wealthy man from Canada, want to buy houses in various places in San Diego. He kept me busy looking all these houses up. He then insisted that they would give me a retainer. I explained that I dont take retainers and that Im not an attorney. He said he also wanted to buy a horse property. I think he probably would have then asked me for my account number to send the retainer. I blocked him!

Was referred to me and did purchase expensive home with cash. Low key, quiet and very impressive with intelligence and my re partner enjoyed the meeting as well. I do not understand the other comments from RE agents which I believe came from his x wife's boyfriend. Found this man considerate and polite.

Smart. I confirmed all of his properties. Most previous comments are incorrect. Met in person. Impressive. Gave me his financials.

Same story as those who've reported before. Just confirming to help others.

He called me and said he was in Toronto looking for a home in Newport. Sent me fake photos of his daughters and proceeded to yell at me when I called out his lies. Extremely rude and seems like an unsafe individual.

Received call from this number. 808 is a Hawaii area code. Did not recognize so did not pick up. Later, tried looking up but no info; tried calling from a blocked id number and only a recording that states, "thank you for calling us back". Can only assume at this point that it is a spam/telemarketing call. If it were a legit company, the recording would state the company's name.

7/21/2023 received a call from this man interviewing me for a listing he had 'valued at $16mm' in Newport Beach. He stated that he wants on experienced person to take care of it and that I wouldn't qualify having been licensed recently. Then he hung up on me. Did not share his name, but from reading these comments - he sounds like someone to avoid.

I got a call from this number on August 3, 2023, 1:45 PM PST. He had a low and raspy voice. He said he was "Martin (some last name I did not catch) from Maui." I said, OK. He asked me if I was in real estate and I said yes. He said he was calling about a house in Rancho Santa Fe. He asked if I work that area. I hesitantly said yes, only because I do. He then chucked like a psycho and said, "Would you ever say no to that?" And I gave him the "Um, ohhhkay, how can I help you?" And then he said, "First, what brokerage are you with? Well, if you found the number that you called, then you already know. At which point I said to him, "You sound like a real weirdo and I'm hanging up," and before I finished saying Up, he hung up on me. Deranged.
