Total scammer tried to get me to paypal smaller and smaller amounts to see if it would "go through"

Asking for drugs and wanting money for sex

FRAUD...This scammer put an email on my i-Mac computer, pretending they were from the GarminGPS company, saying I needed to do an update. I tried, but failed, and then usedtheir chat bot who said a tech would call me within the hour, which he did, so again, thinking they were from Garmin, was impressed. But to be sure, I asked the tech if he was an EMPLOYEE of Garmin. "Yes," he said, which turned out to be a biglie. I asked for his supervisor, to double check if they might be a third party vendor instead of employees of Garmin, but and asked him the same question. Again, he told me, "Yes," he was an employee of Garmin,#2 lie. They took me for almost $400 for a "subscription" to replace my Apple firewall, when Apple firewalls NEVER need replacing, according to the realApple company. Later I talked to the real Garmin and they are having somuch trouble with this latest scam that they no longer send out any emails to customers. And they told me they have no facility in New Jersey where these guys claimed they were working for Garmin there!BEWARE... do not let anyone take over your computer. Hang the phone up immediately! These guys were slick as they come!
