left hanger notice on front door in very exclusive neighborhood on dead end street...scary that these people are around doing this...someone needs to look into this!

Hanger left on door request to give account number

Received a notice hanging on my door knob stating it was IMPORTANT, PLEASE CALL. It also asked to have my account number ready when I called

"Important, please call, be ready to give your account number, we are expecting your call today." For a moment I got scared, then I remembered a warning that legitimate company would not deliver by putting notices on the doorknob. Please warn people, somebody older might not have remembered!

I saw a Hispanic Male, Approximately 5' 8", dark hair, black shirt with white writing on it, approach my front door then left a peach colored door hanger with a slip inside it. He saw me looking at him getting back into his truck, a black Chevy pick up truck, possibly 1995 or later. He stayed in it for about 2 minutes and he got on his cell phone during that time. He got back out his truck and approached me and pointed to the door mailer and just stated that he left that on the door. He then turned back around, returned to his truck, then left.

they called saying they was a debt collector but would not say who they wanted to talk to,but wanted me to give my name,i did not give my name.

Left a hanger notice on door even though we have a no soliciter on doors. Notice stated to call very important!! Need to find out who this is to stop this!!
