Answered call, 4 second delay until the caller came on and said he was from OnStar and I needed to update my credit card information. The fact was that I just got a new bank card and updated it on my account last week online. That made me wonder for a minute so I asked him to give me the number of the card he had on file. He gave me an unrecognizable last 4 digits and expiration date. I smelled a rat and realized that OnStar would never call me. Besides I will NEVER give my credit card number over the phone unless I have initiated the call. I told him I will take care of it online. He replied "Are you sure? You will miss out on some promotions..." I told him I was sure and hung up.
