SCAM SCAM SCAM

Very aggressive telemarketers. I have received 5 final notice calls. This is a SCAM. My caller ID comes up with my home phone number. Very tricky. I suspect this works on seniors. Answerers be ware. This last time I blasted a loud horn into the phone then hung up. 20 seconds later I get a call from 917-333-0000. A New York number and I am told my an Indian(India) sounding voice that they will not stop calling. He screamed at me. He threatened to continue calling despite my requests to stop. The pitch was some bull about final notice to lower your credit card interest rate. I asked which card, he said your main card. I said, I have several, which one? He repeated, main card to me. I do not have any credit cards. Only a debit card. Interest rates do not apply. They are calling from a list they have in my opinion.

received call from heavy accent stating that I had a charge reported from California for electronics for $1000 and trying to verify my information. I have Lifelock and they would have notified me anyway if there had been a problem. i told him he was a scammer and I wasn't falling for it. After I hung up on him he called back several times spouting the most profanity I ever heard from one person, calling me every name in the book...screaming at me in profanity. When I would hang up he would call back doing the same thing, so I stopped answering. Four calls within six minutes. Somebody needs to stop these people. I had a similar incident a year or so ago with an Indian saying he would lower my credit card rate only to find out I would be charged over a $1000 for that privilege and I refused. It got ugly as well. I had my credit card changed.

It was the middle of the night when he called because I was abroad. When I told him I would call back in the morning he said that was impossible. IF I hung up, he would jack up my rate to 29 percent. I hung up anyway.

CREDIT CARD SCAM!!!! Do not give them any information! I will tell you this, should they call back, start asking them for their business information such as company name and address and tell them it's so you can verify their business through the state attorney general's office. You will get under their skin. I did it and then hung up on them. They called me back 4 times after that until I finally answered. At which time the caller said "your credit card has been cancelled!" I just laughed, then promptly blocked their number from my phone. Seems to me maybe I made them mad?!? Telemarketer revenge is sweet!

I answered a call from the 917-333-0000, he, a heavy accented male, asked for my husband, I asked where he was calling from, he said credit card verification. When I said I didn't initiate the call, so he wasn't any info out of me. I told him we were on the national do not call list, and not to call here again, and hung up!! He immediately called back and when I answered to tell him off again, he said "f... you" a number of times, I hung up, he called back again, I let it go to the machine, just voices in the background.

Received call from917-333-0000--found # by using *69 after phone was hung up. Caller reporting large amount charged to credit card;asked for approval for charge; last 4 of SS#; gave the 4 numbers; then card numberrequested;asked to speak with his supervisor; not available; requested supervisor call us back. I'm notifying my bank and credit card issuer.

frauds fishing for your credit card info.

This guy called me, sounded like he was from Pakistan, or India. I could hear many people talking in the back ground, like he was a
telemarketer. He said he was with Card Services/ Better Business Bureau and could lower my Interest Rate. Strangely he had the first four numbers of my Credit Card. I stupidly gave him my whole number, but was very skeptical. Then he asked for my zip code and I would not give it to him, he kept on and on how this was a government thing to help people who pay there credit card on time and don't miss a payment. He also, mentioned Obamas name twice and said I was protected against fraud. I ended up hanging up on him and immediately called my credit card company, reported this to them. They did not know anything about this and canceled my credit card number. He also tried to call me again, I would not answer. I will be reporting this to the Attorney General of my State and who ever else I need to.
