I give my business introduction and callers such as these are by law, not supposed to call businesses, so they generally hang up. I just block their number on my phone and delete.

This is a scam, they are pretending to be a Federal Sergeant named Kevin Lewis.

The person was saying he was a Federal Seargeant.(0262) for Wake County NC and I had not shown up for Federal court Jury Duty. There were warrants out for my arrest because I didn't show up. He gave his name as Seargent Kevin Lewis. He told me the notice went out March 18th, and I was to appear June 17, 2024. My case files were FTA 221-CV-6483 and contempt of court file # was 221-CV-7249. I asked if I had to sign for this notice he said yes, but he could not make the name out on the sign receipt. I informed him that I never received nor signed any summons. If I didn't comply I would be charged $45000.00 of 1 year in jail. I never got a summons to appear in a Federal jury court in Wake County NC nor did I sign for a Federal summons for a request to appear in court. Another thing is I had a serious break with my right had and would have been able to sign such a doucument anyway. I asked for a copy of the document I was suppose to have sign to be sent to me.
