Sending unwanted images through text

Received a text message from this number. Sender knew my first name which I do not go by and neither family nor friends call me by my first name. Sender stated that 'since I wanted to ignore him or her that he/she "will get ahold of "your wife" and tell her I'm looking for you.' then there was a link to a website. An additional text stated "My sister gave me y'all's [sic] house number" followed by a telephone number which I have never had nor seen. A final text said "So let me know something" The number from which the messages came is a number from a state in which I do not live.
