We were scammed about 1 year ago with our computer and lost around 5,000 dollars. This number left a message today about our security and says we now owe 13,800. How can this keep happening? Is there anything that can be done to stop this scamming?

WN Job Positions Job Placement Company - they have called my cell number and my child's cell number. They state in their holding msg, they got the # from it being entered as interest in a job. After holding for one of the agents twice, for over 20 minutes, it just disconnects the call "Good Bye."

Called in the morning, left no message, identified elsewhere as telemarketer located in Sherwood, Oregon. Probably related to other 971 prefix numbers that have been reported as credit card "scams", where they offer to lower the interest, add security, lessen fees, etc.
