This seemed like a spam call. Caller left this message "This is an apology call from your electric utility you got over charged by your third party supplier you will be receiving a rebate check along with a 30% discount on your electric and gas bill. Please press one to get your rebate check"

Call stated they were from BC/BS and were verifying professional credentials for a possible former employee of ours. I took their number and said I would call back. Not happening.

A woman with a very heavy Hispanic type accent called my cell and left a VM -- she claimed to be a supervisor from NJ EZ Pass who was "responding to my request for a call-back". I never called EZ-Pass and don't even go anywhere that I would use it. When I called the number that came up on my caller id (973-368-1500) it rang about 25 times and then a message stating I had reached "the Xerox Administrative Office in Newark, NJ" came on and asked me to leave a voice mail. The alleged voicemail box was full (not that I would have left a message anyway) Very shady

The office received a voicemail from a man who claimed to work for Aperature, a third party re-verification company working with United Healthcare. This man, Garrid, stated he needed us to fax my boss', Dr. Davis, CV and other information in order to be re-certified with United Healthcare; he even provided a fax number, which I discovered to be in KY. I have not responded (and definitely will not respond) because if United Healthcare, who works with Optum in California, wanted Dr. Davis' information, they would have contacted us directly, not beat around the bush with a third party company.

call at all hours of the night to my cell phone

This number called at 7:09 AM three times.

This number keeps calling my work cell phone, telling me that 'my payday loan was approved'. Of course, I have never applied for a payday loan and have a suspicion that is a ruse to get personal information. I registered the number on donotcall.gov but that has not stopped the calls.
