calls my home phone, my cell phone claiming that my name and ssn are listed in a complaint and for me to call them back.

I too got a call from these people, "Windows Support". My computer was about to crash. I allowed them to peruse my system and they showed me many "corrupted" files. For 129/year or 199/life, they told me they could fix it. I told them to give me their number and I'd get back to them when I found out they were legitimate. I called my computer guy, and he chuckled. He perused my system and showed me what all the warnings were about. No cause for alarm. Needless to say, they did not get a return call, and I won't entertain another.

The number shown is not important. But while listening to this man who have many names and speak very bad English. I can easily identify that his English is the type Rumanian people speak. Interpole can easily get to these criminals via the Romanian Telephone provider. While this young man speakes he commit many mistakes because his only aim is getting into your Bank Account eager to get monies for nothing because he thinks he is intelligent more than others. THe number there is nothing but from his voice can easily beidentified as RUMANIAN CRIMINAL and I am 100%

ust got a call from this number claiming he worked for "Windows", and that my computer was sending a message and was about to crash. He said he could help me with it, but I needed to go to my computer in order for him to assist. East Indian accent was extremely dominant and it was difficult to understand. I asked for the number to give a call back because I was about to go out. At first he was hesitant but then agreed. It sounded so fishy!!!!! Glad I googled the number. That's when this site came up.

Somone called me and said they were from Windows Support and that malware had been installed on my computer and tried to get into my computer by installing AMMY. When I asked for a phone # I was put of, when asked again another person who identified himself as Rubin came on, he said he understood that I was hesident about the call and said he was the other guys supervisor, he also put off giving me a phone number. When I said I wasn'r going to let him into my computer until I had the number I had requested, he finally gave me973-975-0970. I told him I would call back and then did research, put watches on all acounts and reported the call to the police. Later a man name Jimmy called back & asked for my husband. I told him I had reported the earlier call to the police. The police said the called the # and got no answer. Also my husband called and got an answer with several people talking in the background. He asked 3 times if this was Windows, but they just kept saying what. THey are either using scare tactics to sell this AMMY System or are trying to gain access to computers. HANG UP if they call you. It is a scam.
