This person called my elderly mother and pretended to be me-- not recognizing the voice, my mother asked who was speaking, and the woman gave my first name, followed up with "your daughter". My mom asked why "I" sounded different and the person gave some BS excuse about getting in a wreck after leaving the house and breaking my nose. Not convinced, mom asked the person for my last name-- and of course they provided her with mom's last name and not my own. Pretty sure they were going to try to convince her to venmo or zelle them some funds (not that she would know how, lol). She of course immediately called me to tell me what happened.
