He said he got a part time job on a oil rig in texasthe oil rig in Texas hurt his ankles and developed a real bad toenail fungus now he's scared to go back to work around his friends He said he use to scam woman on the internet charming them until they fell in love with him and then he would give them a long sad story about how he lost his job working as a clown in a b rated local circus and then he would beg them for money to treat his really disgusting toenail fungus that developed he said he would continue to harass me and call every day until I sent him the $500 rollers he was a asking fer I told em I ain't got the extra funds at this particular time in my life right now to help him with his disgusting smelly feet and he started balling like an infant wanting it's mommy's tit the poor bastard ask me to tap into my 401K for his sorry ass until he could get back on his shitty smelling feet and he said he would pay me back every cent of a thousand dollars if could help him out he must have had me on the phone for probably an hour and a half talking about he really needed that money finally had me feeling pretty sad when for his sorry ass so I sent him $300 I told him that's all I could help him with and he started crying and saying he was going to kill herself and said he was going to kill himself if I didn't send him another couple hundred dollars I asked him how I could help kill his self the sorry pizza shit folks if this number show up a onye fone wadever u doo trust me donte answer it you will be very very sorry iffin u doo

Very rude almost like a big lying crybaby he said his name is Mike and he was needing money to help pay his bills and that he could not work anymore because of his multiple ingrown toenails and his very bad toenail fungus and he was asking for donations of $300 to help him but steaks and beer and to pay the rent on his camper he was living in around Alma Michigan he was very pushy and very very rude and when I told him I can't give him my hard earned money he started crying his eyes out like a big old baby boy so beware of you see this number show up on your caller ID you better go ahead and get out your check book because he's going to be asking for donations you can bet your life on it

Getting lots of calls from this number, but no one answers when I pick up. I am on the DNC list, and am still getting calls.

Calls and hangs up on answering machine. Caller ID states "MICHIGAN CALL"

INTERESTING: I searched on 810-224-5028 and yet its LINKED to THIS NUMBER. ALSO got a call from this 989 number; also ID's as "MICHIGAN CALL" Obviously, BOTH CONNECTED. After getting 1 - 6 SPAM calls DAILY, we just had 3 blessed weeks with NONE of these calls. Then, Unfortunately, Yesterday (4/29) they started up again. Got 3 calls from three different numbers within 24 hours; TWO said "MICHIGAN CALL" (this one) or "MICHIGAN CALLER" 989-462-0241 and the other said "CALIFORNIA" from 949-933-2545. I've seen other posts with ALL THREE of these numbers. All came in on the SAME phone line, and with same MO - a HANGUP before the machine can pick up. The "989-462-0241" is listed with Mr.Number as AN INVALID NUMBER (likely SPOOFED) and THEREFORE, AUTOMATICALLY SPAM and a LIKELY SCAM. That makes the OTHER "MICHIGAN" call likely a SCAM, too, and lets just assume the CALIFORNIA one is, also. In light of the events in BOSTON these past weeks (MARATHON BOMBING) I think its time the FBI and CIA got involved in INVESTIGATING these calls to see if they are part of FUNDING TERRORISM. At BEST they are CRIMINAL anyway; at worst, they could be SCAMMING DUMB and NAIVE AMERICANS into FUNDING the ACTS OF VIOLENCE against them! CALL TYPE: CRIMINAL SCAMMER/FRAUDSTER (TERRORIST FUNDING SOURCE?)

NOT DECENT ENOUGH to ID THEMSELVES over Caller ID ~OR~ LEAVE A MESSAGE on the machine. Just a "Hang up Call." Mr. Number claims THIS IS NOT A VALID NUMBER and therefore this is 100% SPAM/SCAM. LEGIT charities DO NOT OPERATE THIS WAY - using SPOOFED numbers. This call comes from an area of DETROIT. FIGURES. NOTICE ANY PATTERNS? A LOT of these calls come from places like DETROIT, CHICAGO, JAMAICA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC and HAITI. WHAT do these places HAVE IN COMMON???????

Really tired of this # showing up and when I do answer, there is no answer, just a beep beep beep! Does nothing but screw up my answering machine too. Sick of it! I too am on the DNC list - what is the point of being on the DNC list? That also seems to be a waste of time as I get these frustrating calls ALL THE TIME!!! I just tried calling them back on my magic jack line (god forbid they get my cell #), and guess what? All I got was a beep beep beep then silence. This idiot enjoys bugging the crap out of people such as myself, and seriously, I think we have more to worry about then this POS - bombings, fires, etc. What a waste of space - thank you and now i am done and thanks for listening :)
