Caller tried to tell me that my computer was infected. When I asked who he worked for he claimed it was Microsoft. When I told him that I have received no security alerts from Microsoft and that I was on the do not call list and did not want them to call me, he threatened to block my computer. This seemed to be a scam as he wanted me to give him CLS numbers from my computer.

The man insisted my windows computer was in danger of crashing due to being infected. By hackers etc. Wouldn't my antivirus detect this. I said I wasn't good with computers and got a number to have husband call him back. He gave me 315-636-5234. Which is apparently a cell #. He was kind of a jerk too

Hindu accent . Couldn't understand him. hung up.
