Also called claiming to be friend of owner. pretty persistent, but if you tell him you will call him back later, he will give up pretty quickly. He says he is calling from hospital and his name is Dr Green, you must make decision now, and also his father just passed away, and oh yeah, his fathers company is closing and needs to get rid of extra stuff.

called claiming to know my boss, owner of company i work for. Said my boss told him to call me, Dr. Green, and that I would be able to help him. Gave me a sad story about his father's recent passing and was a friend of my boss. said he was closing up his business and had packing tape my boss thought we would be able to use. i had a similiar call 2 months ago, this time it was a recently widowed woman, who sold us the same thing. My boss never spoke nor knew either person. They are trying to sell shipping packing tape and rope you in with personal info.
