Telemarketer claimed to be able to lower my Bank Of America credit card rates if I would give my personal information. He did not have my information already to verify (flag #1) and he tried to assure me that my information was secure because I wouldn't be giving him the security code on the back of the card (flag#2). The call ended after I told him that I work in finance and everything he was saying was not true and that he should be ashamed of himself for trying to steal personal information. He was argumentative.

Don't know how these people got my #--line busy when returned call.

July 31, 2013 10:04 AM EDT. The recorded caller did not identify which credit card company they represented. The recorded voice said to press one (1) to lower your rate to 6.9%, press two (2) to end the call. I pressed the key pad on my smart phone to make a selection and the call ended.

They called my number today and it is listed on Do Not Call List as well and has been on it for years. All our numbers are on it.
