Someone from this number intercepted my business number off of Google when the customer tried to call me through Google said they were me charged the customer $222 for a local tow. Then that company called me and tried to get me to tow the car. I didn't know this at the time of call. I refused to tow because I assumed it was a company scamming stranded motorists so I don't accept jobs from companies I'm not contracted with. Then some time later about 30 to 45 minutes.I get a call from my mechanic.Expecting me to bring a car in for his customer who he told to call me that customer assumed that he had talked to my office and I charged him two hundred and twenty two dollars for a local tow and was waiting on me to deliver car . I knew nothing about. When I asked them what kind of car it was he told me and I realized it was the calling around to find somebody else to tell it for me at this point. These people are scamming stranded motorist and charging them ridiculous amounts and finding tow companies that will go out and do it cheaper.

Unknown number calls my phone multiple times and just hangs up. Doesnt say anything and does not have a voicemail system

This is a number used by a company called EverQuote. They get your number without your permission, then pass it out to hundreds of companies. They will call you every day all day, and when challenged on the phone to stop, they ignore you and don't admit to anything.
