Im getting texts from this number saying they are from PortxGlobal Logistics.. Im expecting a package from GL today so I thought it was legit. The text wanted my phone number which I thought was odd since they just text me. Then I received a text from Google with a 6 digit verification code and a message saying if anyone asks for the code not to give it out because it is a scam. I replied to the text saying Im not giving it out and a reply text said thats ok. I called the number and a man answered. I asked him why he was texting me and he replied it was a mistake and hung up on me. I purchase a puppy on line earlier this week supposedly from a reputable breeder. To date, it has not been delivered. I believe I am being scammed. They took my money and produced nothing I believe this person is part of the scamming team.

Hung after the first five words. "We've been trying to reach you ..." My number is on the Do Not Call Registry, so how would they have gotten my (unlisted) registered number =- and why? SCAM!!
