annoying, needless calls to my cell phone!!!

Did not hear first of call which should have stated who was calling and in reference to what. I didn't have a good grip on my phone, but I did hear reference to lowering % on my account. Don't know what account, nothing. It referenced choosing a number 1 to proceed and 2 to stop. I didn't press anything, just hung up. This is very disturbing, as we have been hacked before and have been on 2 lists of 2 stores being hacked.

Calling about lowering credit card rates.

Currently, this number is being used for illegal recorded message calls about lowering your credit card rates. Using a recorded message is against the law for marketing and you can report these calls to the FTC even if you are not on the national do not call list. Report these and other calls at 1-888-382-1222. Reporting temarketing and scam calls doesn't work overnight, but it DOES WORK. We hardly get any calls now, but we have been on the DNC list for about 5 years and I report ALL junk calls that we get. Anyway, this outfit will say they have your information and just need to verify it, but remember that they called you. And why do they ask for more than just the last 4 numbers of your card? Give them fake information and they will say it matches your account. DO NOT GIVE YOUR REAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE THAT CALLS YOU. If you think they may be real, ask for their number and call them back. But even then you might be getting fooled. Be very careful!!!
