Odd daytime calls from this number

Very snippy woman who claims she was transferred five times before reaching my business. I asked her who transferred her, and her response was the "city clerk" ??? Asking for information that has nothing to do with my business or me.

Lilly Porter, EDCS, called my place of business. Said that my niece gave my name as a reference and needed to verify her phone number. I did. Led me to believe that it was for a job. Once I asked more questions, she said it was a "business matter". When I asked her what does EDCS stand for, she said that she could not tell me that.
