Why are these people still able to call instead of being in jail after all of these same fraud complaints

Said they were calling about the Disability update report for payee. this number showed up on my caller id. But they gave me a number to call back which was 800-775-7802. Didn't give them any info. Said I missed a question on the paperwork. Which isn't true because I made a copy before I sent it.

Says is calling from social security office to verify info on a claim recently sent. Says I can call her back at 1-800-775-7802 extension 31223.

i did receive a letter requesting medical information from SS last month and the caller stated she needed to ask me for more information including my full SS# the call and the letter were both from Wilkes-Barre PA unsure if this iscreal or a scam did anyone else get a form prior to the phone call???

I got a call and a VM from this number saying he was with Social Security & gave me a 800 number to call back. No answer when I did, so I left my name only saying I was returning the call. Just now it rang again and they hung up before I even had a chance to pickup, making me wonder about it and looked up the number here, saw it's a scam (I AM on SS), and blocked the number. Folks, remember....if they need to contact you, THEY WILL MAIL YOU NOT CALL YOU.
