(607) 397 in Worcester, NY

the number is not in service anymore

I just received a call from this number; my caller ID says its from NY. The guy had a really strong Indian accent, says his name is Sam and the phone reception was not so good. He asked me if my email address belonged to me and that people in China and Japan had hacked into my system and has gotten into my network and is using my email to send spam all over the world; that he's a third party company working with Hotmail to resolve this issue. I asked him to hold while research the number and he hung up. Just as I'm typing this, he called again. What scary is that i never give out my work number and this guy is calling my work number.

This number has called numerous times. If I answer it's a dead line and if I don't answer it leaves a garbled message that I should call a certain number.

Received unidentified call this morning. Said they'd been trying to get ahold of me because the IRS was filing a law suit against me. They left a call-back number, which I do not recall. Obviously a scam!!!

Calling "irs is filing law suit against you"

the caller claimed to be the IRS and that she was attempting to collect a debt. He gave my husband a number to call to settle the debt, he did not write down the number.

Received call stating final notice from IRS to please call 347-809-5928 ASAP as this is final notice The IRS is going to sue you

Phoned at midnight and hung up

Called CA at 6:30 am. Didn't pick up but upon reading other complaints for this number, clearly a scam!
