Called and said Hi Grandma this is Michael. I said I am sorry I have no grandson.

Guy said Hi Grandma and said he was my oldest grandson. Said his best friend's sister in the Dominican Republic got married, & the family invited him and paid his entire way. When I kept pressing him for his name (because I was getting the feeling he was going to ask me to wire money on some pretext), he finally hung up. Very convincing.

Said he was my grandson - I don't have a grandson - then called me by my correct first name. Phone not listed in my name so made me nervous.

called my mom and told her my son, her grand son, was in a foreign country and cause a car accident. They wanted her to send $1200.00 for his attorney. They even had someone get on the phone and impersonate my son. They are using this phone to scam people!!

Says he's my oldest Grandson and he is in Dominican Republic for a wedding but when I asked him how old he was he could not answer so I cursed him and hung up. Lover to get ahold of just one of these blood suckers - scamming the elderly. How many have fallen for this?
