Phishing attempt. No vocemail.

No name just a phone number

this is a scam they ahd said my mother ahd two cases against her one being a felony and the other a misdemeanor for a loan she never took out and I called them back and they hung up on me. bunch of lieing scammers

this company called to collect a debt, her name is amy strickland and she said there is a criminal case against me and a warrant will be issued to arrest me if a debt is not paid to them today

They are telling me if i dont pay a payday loan, im not even aware of, i will be arrested with in 48 hours for bank fraud, they dint gave us names or address. They just accepted payment by credit cards or prepays cards by phone only. SCAM.

every two days this individual calls does not say anything just hold the phone when states hello to this person they slam phone down.

The last call to my cell phone (missed call list) was 9/5/12 at 03:51pm. Have had other calls from same number to my home phone. My phones are on no call lists, but the party seems to just not get it. I looked the number up on the web, and found the following info on www.manta.com, which I will share with others to help them understand what's going on. Re: www.manta.com - Phone number 678-257-3052, registered to a company dba Today Appliance Repair, 102 West College Street, Bowdon, GA 30108, owner is listed as Maryln Shi, company profile last updated on www.manta.com on 2/26/11. Further info on the manta site claims the company has been in the appliance repair business for 15 yr under heading "About ...", and under "Business Info" heading, states "16" years in business, employing "20 to 49" workers. Possible that someone with too much time on their hands has hacked the business computer system, as things go these days. Either way, something should be done to stop the foolishness and aggravation.
