I believe they made an account on an online dating app and had me match with a girl that was 19, but later said she was 17 and wanted to claim I was sending certain messages to her even though I never said I would do anything with the girl no matter what age. They later said she was sent to the DSS and had no other choice but to tell authorities or receive a certain amount of money. I went to this website as well as another and the names and locations dont match up with what they were telling me as well as when Ive called their number they didnt answer. I believe it to be a scammer and Im embarrassed and mad.

Met a girl on POF by the name of Michelle, we talked over the weekend and had made plans to meet up for dinner the next day. Come to find out Michelle is 17 although her profile said 18 but she said she was going to be turning 18 at the end of the month; so I was like okay cool whatever its not a huge deal. Now fast forward to Monday afternoon I get a call from Michelle but to my surprise its her "father" and now I'm a little freaked out; dude is over here calling me a pedophile, is fake crying about how that's his daughter and how he's worried about her safety and all that jazz. Now her "father" said that he wants to call the police and report me but because I'm(22) barely an adult myself he was like "Ill give you a chance to redeem yourself as a man" so what came next was him telling me about how the bumper to his car got wrecked because his daughter got into an accident early that day. So either I can pay for the repairs or I can have him report me to the police. Now I know I didn't do anything wrong here, when I was talking with this "Girl" I kept things very casual and respectful and never once did I say or send anything of a sexual nature to this "Girl". I blunt out told this man that I had nothing to do with the damages to his car and that I wasn't going to pay him jack shit because I never met his "Daughter", touched her , or did anything warranting an arrest from the police.
