(713) 856 in Houston, TX

I received a call from 713 856-4856. It was a man on the phone saying he was calling about some unpaid traffic tickets. I thought it rather strange, but I have a teenage grandson and thought possibly he might have received some tickets and was afraid to tell me. I ask to whom I was speaking, and he just kept on talking about how these needed to be paid immediately as one dated back to 2008. My grandson was not driving then and I knew that I did not have any outstanding tickets. I told him to tell me the names on the tickets and he just kept saying how they needed to be paid immediately. I told him if he did not tell me a name I was hanging. up. He then said "There is a parking ticket and the reason for the ticket is that you are too stupid to drive. I told him he was the stupid one and hung up. This did not sound like a teenager, but a grown man, and I have a feeling he wanted to scare me into paying the "tickets" by phone. I am putting it down as a prank call, but I believe it was intended to commit fraud.
