The individual called me on 10/13 around 2:30 MST and claimed to have been hired to collect a bill of over $3000. I was in a restaurant at the time with my family and Knew that I did not owe the money to any institution. I asked for a name, but it was quick and garbled and I hung up. I also called the business that supposedly had hired this person and they confirmed that, no, they had not initiated any collection actions and that I absolutely did not owe any money.
