Called at 11:30 am on 3/29/13. I wasn't there so it went to my answering machine. It was a robocall of a woman "informing" me that if I have comprehensive coverage on my car, I can get my windshield replaced free. It's a typical scam call using an "interrupted" lead-in starting mid-sentence with "windshield of Florida," intended to give the impression the beginning of the message was missed. No identifying info was contained in the call. The message ended with the usual "press 1 for a representative; hit 8 to be taken off their list." Of course hitting either marks you as a live number so never do either. My caller ID showed "no name received."
I'm on both state and federal DNC's, and of course the calls are totally illegal. I'll file complaints with both.
Probably one of those offshore "lead generating" outfits that sells leads to installers. Wish I know who they contract with so I can avoid them.
